The Middle Schools offer highly focused classes tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Because the primary criterion for admission to the NY Nativity Centers is economic need, our students represent a diverse cross-section of first-generation Americans with a range of academic abilities. At the NY Nativity Centers our students benefit from the personal attention and guidance made possible by:
Small, single-gender classes
A student-to-teacher ratio of seven-to-one
Caring, dedicated teachers who provide traditional academic instruction in addition to supervising the after-school program
An extended school day that begins at eight o’clock in the morning and continues with afternoon study sessions, athletics and social activities that last until at least five o’clock in the afternoon
Access to New York City’s vast cultural resources.
